	OUR MISSION The mission of the APF is to work for limiting of the possibilities for suffering and/or abuse of the cats and dogs in Bulgaria, by attracting the public attention to the real problems of these populations, by providing adequate services and enforcement of legislation. STATEMENT OF THE AIMS (accepted June 18 2006) - Restriction of the reproduction and movement of the cats and dogs in Bulgaria - To be ensured normal duration of life, good health, normal living conditions and reliable masters for as many as possible cats and dogs in Bulgaria OBJECTIVES Short term objectives: - Increasing rehoming of abandoned and lost animals - Discouragement of the home breeding - Increasing prevalence of sterilized owned animals Long term objectives: - Enforcement of humane control of pet populations - Protection of all cats and dogs
